PlayStation 5 Slim Overview

PlayStation 5 Slim, also known as the “new PS5,” is a more compact version of the original PS5. It features a revamped outer shell with a two-panel setup on the top, with a glossy finish at the bottom and a matte finish on top. The PS5 Slim is 18-24% lighter and 30% smaller than the original PS5, making it more space-efficient. The PS5 Slim comes with a 1TB SSD internal storage, providing ample space for games and media.

It also features a detachable disc drive, allowing users to purchase the digital edition and later add an Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive if they decide to play physical games. The internal capabilities of the PS5 Slim remain largely unchanged from the original PS5, including the same CPU, GPU, memory, and I/O throughput, providing a similar gaming experience in a more compact form factor. The PS5 Slim supports 4K resolution at 120Hz, providing a high-quality gaming experience.
